In the maze of colorful little alleys, you’ll find many historic landmarks emblematic of Seville, as well as beautiful white-façaded villas typical of Sevillian architecture, palaces, and flowered patios.

It’s the best place to stay in Seville for families or small groups of friends.
In San Vicente / Alameda de Hercules district
Alameda de Hercules is known as Seville’s youthful and lively district. Once considered a rough area, it is now the epicenter of Seville’s nightlife. It’s packed with tapas bars and is the go-to spot for a drink during the daytime or at night.
Located between the Guadalquivir River and Alameda de Hercules, San Vicente is a former bourgeois district, which boasts numerous churches and convents, as well as charming squares where you can sit for a drink surrounded by orange trees.
It’s the most renowned district for enjoying authentic tapas and discovering Sevillian cuisine.
Both districts offer relatively affordable lodging prices, and there are many apartments available for rent rather than hotels.
While it may not be the most popular among tourists, it’s definitely a cool area to stay in Seville.
The San Vicente / Alameda de Hercules district is great for accommodation if you’re staying in Seville:
- To experience Andalusian gastronomy

With a fantastic location, great breakfast, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms, it’s definitely one of the best hotels in El Arenal district to stay in Seville!
In Triana district
Triana is located on the other side of the Guadalquivir River, to the west. Formerly a Gypsy neighborhood, it is now a popular and picturesque area, where you can feel the typical Andalusian village spirit.
Stroll through the streets to meet the pottery and ceramic artisans who have made their home here, and taste Andalusian cuisine in one of the many family-owned bars and restaurants in Triana.
Although you can reach the El Arenal district in a few minutes via the Isabel II Bridge, Triana feels like a separate city, and its inhabitants feel more attached to the neighborhood than to Seville. Being quite far from downtown, it naturally offers very affordable housing prices.
I recommend this neighborhood for where to stay in Seville:

Occupying the top 13 floors of the namesake skyscraper (the tallest in Andalusia), Eurostars Torre Sevilla offers upscale modern rooms with some of the most beautiful panoramic views of the entire city and beyond.
It also boasts a spa with a pool, a restaurant (360° view of Seville), and a gym.
Its location is perfect, 800 meters from Triana Bridge and therefore a 15-minute walk from the center of Seville.
With top-notch service to boot, this is without a doubt my top suggestion for luxury accommodation in Seville!
In La Alfafa / Las Setas district
The La Alfafa / Las Setas district has a dual personality, both traditional and picturesque (with its tapas bars and narrow streets full of designer shops), and modern and futuristic (with Metropol Parasol and Plaza de la Encarnación).
It’s an excellent compromise for those wanting to stay close to Seville’s downtown, especially near the Alcázar, while avoiding areas heavily frequented by tourists.

The hotel also boasts a swimming pool (an essential feature to cool off in Seville!) situated on its rooftop terrace, offering a panoramic view over Seville.
Located in Alfafa district, it is only a 5-minute walk from Seville Cathedral and 7 minutes from the Alcázar Palace.
This is my top recommendation for a romantic weekend in La Alfafa/Las Setas district of Seville
In del Museo district
The del Museo district is the chic and upscale area of Seville, a bit away from the crowds of tourists and therefore quieter than the historic center.
Named because it’s home to the magnificent Seville Museum of Fine Arts (considered Spain’s second most beautiful after the Prado Museum in Madrid), it’s perfect for lovers of art and culture.
The del Museo district is the ideal place to stay:
- If you are passionate about art
- If you are looking for a quiet area to stay
In del Museo district, you can discover:
- The Seville Museum of Fine Arts
- Seville-Plaza de Armas Station, a former station now converted into a shopping center and cinema
